In an action of the Zadar newspaper and the Tourist Board of the Zadar County, ‘Cvit za lipši svit’ (A flower for a more beautiful world) Mandre won an award in the category for the most beautiful place in the county in 2003.

ISLAND PAG is certainly one of the most beautiful Croatian islands, of unspoiled nature, stone, fertile fields with a well-known bird reserve, a thousand years old olive tree and beautiful beaches on the 270 km long shore. Paradise on earth. The length of the island is 60 km and in some places the width is less than 2 km. The island of Pag has a rich history that is proved by numerous archaeological sites such as Roman waterworks, the sunken town of Caska, numerous churches, and above all worth visiting is the salt museum in the town of Pag, the museum of the Pag lakes, the ethnographic collection in Pag and Novalja, underground tunnels of the Roman waterworks in the Novalja Museum as well as the permanent exhibition of the famous Pag lace.
